TEACHER TRAINING
 |
Training will
be scheduled in advance and at the convenience of the school. Most of the
training is “hands-on,” making it possible for the attendees to actually work
with the system during training. The trainer will be available for at least
two additional follow-up training sessions and ongoing support via phone and
e-mail. The initial training introduces the basic operation of the system and
use of the function and features. Follow-up sessions will include review,
questions and answers, basic editing, and assistance with specific activities
will be covered... After the students and faculty have become comfortable with
the basic operation, additional training in the more advanced operations will
be scheduled such as we will assist with the Authoring Tools located in the
Soloist. Most institutions find that two or three training sessions are
sufficient, but our goal is for the school to be able to fully implement the
system. While we do not limit the amount of training, we do recommend that one
or two individuals at the school be onsite contacts for the faculty. Training
includes faculty and technical support personnel. The technical support
person(s) should attend the training sessions so that he/she is familiar with
the operation of the system. Network administrator should be available at the
time of training in case any network problems occur. |

In addition to
the typical help screens that are built into the Virtuoso and Soloist
software, there are several other helps available. |

every way possible. We spend a great deal of time in your area, and if you tell
us you would like more help, we will be happy to do that. No matter how old the
lab is.
